Though “multi-tasking” has existed for my generation (i.e., drive the car with the radio on, while eating drive-thru tacos), our multi-tasking was on mindless “muscle memory” tasks. Seems that the new generation can gather a collage of information at the same time. My question is, does that mean that the information is only processed on the surface level since they are “skimming” along without any “deep thinking?”
